Welcome, to the Art of Aldonia Bailey. A gift to the world, her gift is the gift of creativity, inspired by life itself and love of life, despite the twists and turns of our journey through out our lives, Aldonia's art direction takes on various forms and methods of creativity which is constantly being transformed.

Accomplished Visual Artist, Designer, and Poet, she received her degree in Visual Arts.  She has worked as an Arts Educator and Instructor for over 20 years. In 2008 Aldonia Bailey taught as a Fine Arts and Cultural Art teacher at Rhythms of the Village Charter High School. Aldonia served as Lead Artist on Natha Community Mural Project. Aldonia's desire to teach inspired her to create a "Young at Art Project" for her children and other children in the community.

 Aldonia's costume design for "Ms Clown's" costume, was chosen for "Wrapped in Pride" exhibition in 1999 at to UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History.  The exhibit traveled to Smithsonian Institutions National Museum of African Art and Anacostia Museum, Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit and Anchorage Museum of History and Art. In 2001 she received a grant to design, create, and collaborate, a community mural titled “In The Spirit of Peace! With Artist George Combs, from American Friends Service Committee Organization. In 2005 she received the Visual Artist and Designer Award from Eaton Canyon.

   The Artists Helping Artists Organization, and founder of the Creative Line Publication, chose her as "Regional Ambassador of San Gabriel Valley" for her outstanding representation and commitment in support of the arts. She taught in the City of Pasadena Recreation program for over 12 years. She was designated to create a "Recreational Art for Kids project Booklet" for our youth.

In Collaboration with community partners in the arts Aldonia has worked with North Lake YMCA teaching art and computer classes, and hosted the First Black History Month Art Exhibit.  Infinite Potential, Community Self-Determination Institute, Pasadena Learns, A Step Ahead Arts School Program, P.U.S.D. "Families in Transition" -Union Station Foundation are a few of many organizations, in support of the arts that Aldonia has service.  As a tribute to African American Artist in the community, Aldonia exhibit in La Pintoresa Library. The most recent accomplishment was the assignment to finish an existing mural that was 160’feet by 12’feet for the community neighborhood project.
