The Art Education standards are used in the creative process.
Artistic perception, creative expression, historical and cultural context, aesthetic valuing, connections, relationships, and application.
Each is approximately 1hour in length. The
art experiences include drawing, painting, and construction, printmaking,
weaving and sculpting.

"Free and Easy Art Projects" Project Title: Family
Tree “Tell me about you” - history Supplies: construction paper,
scissors, glue Instruction: each child will draw a
tree, the tree represents their family next draw pictures of family members and attach to the tree, color the background and tree. Optional: add relatives and friends or change themes to fit the season (for younger children you may make a pattern)
Skills: critical thinking, observing, researching Length of Project: 1 hour -15 minute prep time -30 minute project -15 minutes clean up INDIVIDUAL/ PAIRS OR GROUP ratio: 10 /15 Space needed: outdoor

children step by step "FREE AND EASY" Project Title: Alphabet
Cartoon Character Supplies: drawing paper, markers, pencils, pencil sharpeners
Instruction: chose a holiday or occasion, write the letters large on your paper, draw
facial features and hair add hands and feet. Trace the drawing with dark
colored markers. Give your character name. Optional: other details

children services, 25 years as a Free agent and consultant on
various contracts. Aldonia Bailey is a mother of 6 children and 4 grandchildren, and a visual artist' whose mission is to educate our families and youth about the important of the arts.
